21 Mar 6 Reasons To Quit Your Job In The Next 6 Months
If you’re a reader/watcher of my blog or YouTube channel you’ll know that I’m pretty passionate about people creating their own business or income streams.
In today’s blog post I wanted to go through 6 reasons to quit your job in the next 6 months or even sooner.
And if these reasons don’t get you excited to quit your job, then I don’t know what will!
6 Reasons To Quit Your Job In The Next 6 Months
Watch the video below or keep reading:
1. More Time
Now you’re not automatically going to have more time by becoming a self made man or woman, because at first you’re going to be hustling your butt off to create enough income.
But once YOU DO, that’s when things change.
You can start working around your family. You can spend more time with them. You can be far more flexible with your hours.
Not only can you create more time for yourself (one of the most valuable resources we have), but once you have your own business, then you can stop trading YOUR TIME for dollars at your job.
2. You’re in Control
You’re the BOSS. The boss-man. The boss-woman.
You get to call the shots when you’re in control.
Now even though we are never fully in control of everything, there is still a lot you can.
You control how much work you put in, where the business goes, who you employ, when you start work, what you work on etc etc…
3. Your Income is Uncapped
One of the coolest parts of going out on your own as an entrepreneur is that your income potential is uncapped.
There is no ceiling on what you can earn like there is when you’re an employee.
Again this comes down to how much you want to earn. If your goal is to just earn an average wage a year, then that’s fine.
If you want to earn 10 times that, then you can do that too.
It just comes down to how much you want it and what you’re prepared to do for it.
4. You can Work on Projects You’re Passionate about
The best thing about being an entrepreneur in my view is that you get to work on the stuff you love.
Maybe not at first, maybe when you’re first starting out, you start a business to get you out of the rat race, but then maybe you pivot to work on the projects you are truly passionate about.
Like me with vlogging, I absolutely love it, I love connecting with you with my videos, my blogging and my social media.
To be able to do this stuff everyday and even want to do it on your days off, really helps keep you excited about your business and wanting to always keep improving it and yourself.
5. Create Your Own Economy
A cool little perk of being your own boss is that you can create your own little economy.
By building your own brand (as opposed to just building an income stream) and creating products that people love, then you build your own well-protected safety net of opportunity.
People follow you and your brand because they love you and what you do. Just because there is a dip in the stock market or whatever, it’s not going to impact what people think of you.
6. Make a Bigger Impact
When I was in my 9-5 (which was actually a 7:30-4:15) I was there for nearly 9 hours each day.
That’s 9 hours I couldn’t spend on bettering myself so that I could better the world.
When you’re not in the work-a-day world, you get far more time to be creative.
Not to mention that time can be spent connecting with other people to make an even bigger impact.
Now if these reasons to quit your job aren’t enough, then I don’t know what’s going on with you!
